Tallahassee–Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer today named John F. Davis RPOF Deputy Executive Director of Operations. In addition to his role as Director of Minority Outreach and Coalitions, as Deputy Executive Director, Davis will oversee RPOF Operations, aiding Chairman Greer and Executive Director Delmar Johnson with the long and short term management of the organization.
“I am grateful for the leadership John has demonstrated over the last two years. As the first RPOF Director of Minority Outreach and Coalitions, John has gained a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in grassroots outreach and organization within Florida’s minority communities,” said Chairman Greer. “This promotion will enable John to better utilize his extensive management experience for the betterment of the organization as a whole. I am looking forward to continuing to work with him to better spread the Republican message, headed into this critical election cycle.”

John F. Davishas served with the RPOF organization since 2007. Originally appointed Deputy Director of Field Operation, Davis was later promoted to Director of Minority Outreach and Collations, when Chairman Greer created the new department in August 2007. In this capacity, Davis oversees the operations of the RPOF’s African American, Hispanic, Jewish and Women’s Leadership Councils, organizing and maintaining a network of minority outreach coordinators in 67 counties, and managing all elements of the RPOF’s presence in minority communities across the state.
Davis brings to the RPOF more than a decade of management expertise in the field of sales as well as extensive work on a number of political and issue advocacy campaigns. Davis is a graduate of the Florida State University where he played varsity football. Davis and his wife Felicia reside in Altamonte Springs.
